The Brantling Bluegrass Festival which is celebrating its 4th year is held on the grounds of Brantling Ski Slopes in Sodus, NY. Brantling is a family owned and operated snow sports business. The festival (concert & camping area) is held across the street from the slopes & lodge on a flat mowed surface making it very accessible. Parking is FREE. A parking lot adjacent to the concert area is available to those with mobility issues and a valid handicapped parking sticker/tag. General parking is just across the street.
Artists perform on a covered stage. Large audience tents are available for concert goers seeking sun/rain protection. Open space is plenty, allowing guests to pick their favorite spot to sit back and enjoy the music. Sound is provided by House of Guitars and Matt Wilbur.
Vendor alley is conveniently located near the concert area. Attendees can browse our craft and instrument vendors merchandise or get a bite to eat from one of our food vendors all while continuing to enjoy the music, Picnic tables are available.
New for 2012, we will host a BBQ cooking contest. Think you have the best BBQ chicken
or ribs? Prove it at the Brantling Bluegrass Cook-
Porta-
While at the festival, there is plenty to do. Hike the hill & trails for exercise and stunning views from atop the hill including the Zurich Bog. Bring a fishing pole and fish (catch & release) in the pond. Last year, boys from Mountain Heart gave it a try but it was spectator Reggie Aceto who caught the pond monster; will you be next?
